Getting started & your account

Sign-up, approval, sign-in and settings.

How do I create an account?
Sign up as a Carrier, Broker or Shipper. Carriers and brokers enter their MC number, which we verify with FMCSA; shippers enter company details. Drivers are added by their carrier — see pairing a driver's phone.
My account is pending approval — what now?
Every business account is reviewed by our team — authority, and insurance where it applies — usually within one business day. You'll get an email when it's ready. If it's been longer, email support from your sign-up address with your MC number.
I can't sign in, or I forgot my password
Use Forgot password for a reset link. Still locked out? Email support from the address on your account.
Where do I change my company details, email or notifications?
On the web: Settings → Profile and Settings → Notifications. In the app: Account → Settings. Company name and MC come from your FMCSA record; email us if they're wrong.
How do I delete my account?
On the web: Settings → Account & security → Delete account. In the app: Account → Settings → Security. Or by email. What is deleted and what we must keep is on the account deletion page.

The load board

Finding, posting, bidding and booking.

How do I find loads?
Open the board and pick Truckload, Drayage or Intermodal. Filter by origin, destination, radius, equipment, pickup window and minimum rate. Save a search to get alerts when a matching load is posted.
Why does a board say "lane locked"?
Boards are sold per lane. A locked lane isn't on your plan — Settings → Billing & plan shows which lanes you have and how to add one. If you're on a team, your admin manages the plan.
How do bidding and booking work?
On a load you can bid your rate, or book at the posted rate where the poster allows it. When a broker or shipper accepts, the load becomes a booking and both sides are notified.
How do I post a load?
Use Post Load: origin, destination, pickup and delivery windows, equipment, weight and rate. Edit or withdraw it any time from your posted loads. Posting volume depends on your plan.
How do I post a truck?
From Trucks, post a truck with its equipment, location and the window it's available. Brokers and shippers see it in capacity search and can reach you directly.
How do I source a lane or run an RFP?
Brokers price lanes in Lane RFPs — add lanes, run the rate calculator, export. Shippers source lanes in Lane sourcing: post lanes, collect carrier bids, benchmark and award. Both are in the app as well.

Dispatch & drivers

Pairing phones, assigning loads, tracking and proof of delivery.

How do I pair a driver's phone?
In Drivers, add the driver and you'll get an 8-digit pairing code. The driver signs in to the FreightHub app, taps Not paired · Enter code on the Account tab, and enters it. Codes are single-use and expire, so mint a fresh one if it's been a while. The pairing survives sign-out.
How do I dispatch a booked load to a driver?
Open the booked load and choose Assign driver. FreightHub checks hours of service first: a driver inside the 10-hour rest window is refused, with Dispatch anyway available where the rule allows an override. The driver gets the load on their Trips board and can accept or decline.
How does live tracking work?
When the driver taps Start trip, their location is shared with their carrier's dispatch and the broker or shipper who posted the load, until proof of delivery. It keeps running while the phone is locked — Android shows a notification the whole time — stops automatically at delivery, and the route driven stays on the load afterwards.
The driver's location isn't updating
Check the trip card in the app: it says whether sharing is on and whether location is set to While using (works) or Always (most reliable). Out of signal, fixes queue on the phone and upload when it reconnects. If sharing was never started, the driver needs to tap Start trip.
How do drivers submit proof of delivery?
At delivery, open the trip and tap Capture POD: up to six photos of the signed paperwork plus the receiver's name. It's stored with the load and visible to the carrier and the broker right away.

Track & Trace

Containers, terminals, rail and alerts.

"Container not found" — but I know it's there
We query the LA/LB terminals plus PierPass. A container still on the inbound vessel can take a few hours after discharge to appear. Check the number (four letters, seven digits), wait an hour and try again, or check directly with the terminal.
The verdict for my container looks wrong
Verdicts come from the latest terminal data, cached for ten minutes. Pull to refresh. If the terminal portal still disagrees, email us the container number and a screenshot of the portal and we'll investigate.
I'm not getting push notifications
iOS: Settings → Notifications → FreightHub → Allow. Android: Settings → Apps → FreightHub → Notifications. We notify you when something you follow changes — a tracked container, a load dispatched to you, a reply from support. Focus and Do Not Disturb silence them. Every alert also lands in the in-app feed under the bell.
Can I track rail and intermodal moves?
Yes — Intermodal in Track & Trace follows the container onto rail with the railroad's ETA. Track & Trace is available on every account type.

Billing & plans

Trials, upgrades, invoices and teams.

Is there a free trial?
Carriers, brokers and shippers can start a 14-day trial of the load board when they sign up, and carriers who run drayage only use the drayage board free. Settings → Billing & plan shows your plan and trial status.
How do I upgrade, change or cancel my plan?
Settings → Billing & plan → Manage billing & invoices opens the billing portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; access continues until then.
I paid but my plan didn't activate
Don't check out again — you'd be charged twice. Activation usually lands within a few minutes; reload the page. If it's still inactive, email support with your Stripe receipt and we'll finish it by hand.
Where are my invoices?
Settings → Billing & plan → Manage billing & invoices — every invoice and receipt, ready to download.
How do team seats work?
The account owner invites colleagues by email, and they share the company's plan and lanes. The number of seats depends on your plan, and the owner manages billing.

Security, privacy & data

Who sees what, and how to reach us about it.

Is my data visible to other users?
Only what the marketplace needs. Posted loads and trucks are visible to the other side; a poster's contact details are shown to accounts on a paid plan; container numbers on drayage moves can stay held until they're released to the carrier; and a driver's location goes only to their carrier and the broker or shipper on that load, and only during a trip. We don't sell data. Details in the Privacy Policy.
How do I report a security issue?
Email security@bafastfreight.com. Please don't post details publicly until we've had a chance to fix it.
Where are your terms, privacy policy and cookie settings?
Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and cookie preferences — also in the footer of every page.
